The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and food production products. This role ensures inventory accuracy, product quality, and adherence to food safety standards, while leading the warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Job Description

- Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials and products.
- Ensure proper organization, cleanliness, and temperature control across dry, chilled, and frozen storage areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials (flour, sugar, butter, yeast, eggs, etc.), packaging, and finished bakery products.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile variances, and coordinate with accounting and production teams for adjustments.
- Implement and monitor FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) systems to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness.
- Monitor product expiry dates, quality, and storage conditions of perishable and non-perishable goods.
- Maintain proper warehouse documentation, including GRNs, delivery notes, and stock reports.
- Record and track inventory transactions using SAP or similar ERP/inventory management software.
- Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, including storekeepers, loaders, and helpers, ensuring smooth workflow and shift coverage.
- Enforce hygiene, food safety, and housekeeping standards in line with HACCP or GMP guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage practices to preserve freshness, quality, and product integrity.
- Conduct pest control inspections and maintain warehouse safety and fire prevention measures.
- Liaise with production to ensure timely supply of ingredients and packaging for daily operations.
- Collaborate with procurement for material planning, delivery schedules, and order tracking.
- Coordinate with the finance team on stock valuation, audits, and inventory reporting.
- Support logistics operations for inter-branch transfers or deliveries to retail outlets.
Requirement

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in bakery, food production, or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, storage practices, and temperature-controlled warehousing (dry, chilled, and frozen).
- Hands-on experience with inventory management or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and email communication.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of bakery ingredients, packaging, and production requirements.

Working Hour : 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Day Off : Sunday
