Responsibilities:
- Develop, establish, implement, and enforce supplier guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements for the organization.
- Establish and maintain good partnerships and communication with vendors/suppliers to consistently monitor vendor performance.
- Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and inventory control to make recommendations and identify areas for potential savings.
- Maintain current knowledge of all F&B products to ensure the best purchasing decisions.
- Analyze trends and market conditions for current and future pricing, availability, lead times, and capacity of goods and services.
- Interview, identify, and qualify potential vendors or suppliers to secure more cost-effective sources of products and services.
- Define purchasing recommendations that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Handle and manage the full spectrum of procurement functions for local operations and liaise with the Franchisor.
- Develop, communicate, and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field / Diploma holder.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Bakery, Food, Retail Service, or FMCG sector.
- Experience in sourcing and procurement and building a vendor program.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
- Strongly motivated and creative individual.
- Meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Outstanding team-building and leadership skills.
