The Planning Engineer is responsible for supporting project planning and scheduling activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution. The role focuses on monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and assisting in implementing corrective actions to maintain project timelines. The Planning Engineer works closely with the Senior Project Manager and project team to provide accurate reporting and schedule control.

Job Description

Update, monitor, and control project schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines.
Track project progress, identify potential delays, and prepare catch-up or recovery schedules when necessary.
Prepare planning reports, progress updates, and presentations for management review.
Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with project teams to collect progress data and verify site information.
Maintain proper documentation of planning records and schedule revisions.
Assist the Senior Project Manager in planning-related matters and perform urgent tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SketchUp
Positive attitude, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively across teams and departments.
