The M&E Engineer is responsible for managing the full cycle of tender preparation, technical review, and project coordination to ensure all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works meet design standards, specifications, and deadlines. This role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver cost-effective and technically sound solutions while maintaining compliance and quality throughout the project.
Job Description

- Review and manage customer inquiries to develop feasible and cost-effective solutions.
- Examine tender documents upon receipt to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) prior to submission.
- Ensure tender submissions fully comply with commercial and technical requirements.
- Prepare accurate indirect cost estimates and verify costing calculations.
- Ensure all tenders align with company commercial and quality guidelines.
- Prepare or review project construction schedules, defining required man-hours and equipment for each activity.
- Submit completed tender proposals within specified deadlines.
- Review and validate technical drawings and designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Evaluate work procedures and method statements for adherence to design specifications and standards.
- Oversee M&E subcontractor progress, drawing reviews, and method of statement (MOS) submissions for approval.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, engineers, and the Project Manager.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure all works are executed in line with approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist the Project Manager/Project Director in establishing monitoring and evaluation
Requirement

- B.E (Mechanical)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in M&E Quantity Surveying (QS) within the construction industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Willing to travel between office and project sites as required.
- Able to work based in Ahlone or Dagon Seikkan Township.
