Responsibilities:
- Translate the organization’s business plan into an operational plan.
- Ensure smooth operations by managing related resources.
- Make improvements to achieve the organization’s targets as planned by coaching department leaders.
- Mentor, coach, and monitor employees and their related job tasks according to standard structures.
- Improve standards to a higher level and maximize organizational performance.
- Conduct strategic planning by defining departmental objectives, setting individual KPIs, reviewing and analyzing job task achievements, handling complaints, and making decisions on related issues.
- Prepare and control the organization’s budget and expenses.
- Find sponsors to expand the marketing budget and monitor income development through systematic identification of advertising channels and promotional areas.
- Manage day-to-day activities related to PR, press, and marketing communications by attending media conferences, opening ceremonies, and events.
- Communicate and negotiate with customers and media channels to build and expand networks.
- Conduct regular “Go and See” activities for brand awareness development and continuously review the strengths and weaknesses of competitors based on market conditions.
- Maintain good relationships and provide smooth operations to all internal and external customers.
- Recommend or make decisions regarding employee promotions, demotions, and transfers within the organization.
- Analyze data, summarize findings, and report to relevant management based on each sector of marketing reports.
- Maintain the confidentiality of organizational information in order to protect the value of the organization and support the achievement of organizational needs and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (MBA preferred).
- At least 5 years’ experience in marketing, with management experience in the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of event management practices.
- Knowledge of shopping centre business, shopping centre processes, the company’s business model, and main competitors.
- Able to communicate fluently in English and Burmese.
- Able to communicate professionally and effectively with internal staff, tenants, shoppers, and suppliers.
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PageMaker, PowerPoint), Internet and Email, and tenant management software.
- Able to plan own and staff workloads efficiently.
- Able to work in Ahlone Township.
