Responsible for managing the mall’s marketing initiatives. Uses market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. Oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Interviews, hires, and trains marketing staff members.
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their duties.
- Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts.
- Oversees current offerings and develops initiatives for new products or services.
- Submits budget requests for marketing activities and tracks, manages, and monitors campaign and activity budgets.
- Researches and analyzes market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to develop marketing strategies.
- Works with marketing staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels.
- Creates the annual marketing department budget and works within the approved budget.
- Ensures that project and department milestones/goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.
- Manages and oversees the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects.
- Manages and monitors the CRM and shopper management programs, as well as the membership database.
- Organizes membership activities and development programs.
- Updates and distributes information to current and prospective members.
- Oversees the membership customer service process and system to ensure member satisfaction.
- Communicates with media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other service providers to ensure marketing projects are completed successfully.
- Adjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and feedback.
- Tracks all marketing and sales data and prepares detailed written reports and verbal presentations for the Centre Manager and Management Team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong skills in marketing strategy, media channels, client relationship management, creativity, adaptability, research, analysis, writing, public speaking, interpersonal communication, leadership, people management, attention to detail, budgeting, organization, and multitasking.
- Ideally, candidates should have work experience in visual merchandising, marketing, and retail. A minimum of 4–5 years of working experience in sales and marketing will be considered.
- Experience with desktop publishing, marketing automation, and CRM systems.
- Fluent in English and Burmese.
- Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including writing for digital communications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
