The Design CAD Engineer is responsible for supporting the successful execution of the projects by preparing and managing design documentation in coordination with the engineering and architectural teams. This role involves developing design criteria and specifications, creating detailed and as-built drawings, and ensuring accurate distribution of approved documents.

Job Description

• Achieve the targets set by the Senior Design (CAD) Engineer and the Design & Coordination Manager.
• Prepare design criteria and design specifications for assigned projects.
• Liaise with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and design information.
• Prepare and review rough sketches in coordination with the engineering team.
• Prepare basic design drawings, detailed design drawings, and shop drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on construction data provided by the construction team.
• Distribute approved and updated versions of drawings to relevant parties.
• Follow workplace safety rules and regulations and remind team members to maintain safety awareness.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Senior Design (CAD) Engineer and the Department Head.

Requirements

• E. (Civil) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum (4) years of experience in a related position.
• Proficient in computer applications, AutoCAD, and design-related software.
• Able to work under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
