The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control activities while supporting strategic decision-making through timely analysis and insights.

Job Description

• • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, along with detailed variance and performance analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiatives to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory-related transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior finance staff to enhance team capability and performance.

Requirement

• • B.Com or equivalent degree in a related field
  • LCCI Level III Diploma (UK) or ACCA Part I (UK) preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a hotel with related position
  • Proven ability to prepare financial reports independently and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of staff.
  • Good understanding of taxation laws, accounting policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Willingness and ability to work in Ahlone Township, Yangon.

 

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Days Off: Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
