Shwe Taung Infrastructure Investments invest in the future of Myanmar. We take a responsible and committed long term view to our infrastructure investments. We believe the private sector is an important financing partner to meet Myanmar’s infrastructure needs. We are willing to invest in infrastructure assets through different economic cycles and work closely with the government to ensure that public needs are met.
Our infrastructure investments include Future Energy, Shwe Taung High Way, Hi Star, and Deedoke Hydropower project.
Shwe Taung Infrastructure Investments is investing in the Deedoke Hydropower Project. The Project provides energy to the national power grid by using discharged water from the Yeywa Reservior. The environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) report, based on the Project’s feasibility design (2015), is available for downloading here.
