Job Description

  • Originate and implement new business plans, partnerships, M&A and other investments strategy
  • Define focus for existing and future business development needs in priority sectors in line with future business plan
  • Develop insights on industry trends, landscape changes, and competitive threats including emerging business partnerships, and joint venture opportunities
    for new business opportunities
  • Foster and maintain relationships with the potential/existing business partners
  • Support board of director through market analysis, model building, key financial indicator, cash flow projection and development presentation
  • Provide estimate of margin and cost from the proposed deal and review whether the proposed margins and costs are in line with budgets and strategies
  • Execute ad hoc research projects to assist opportunity evaluation
  • Support the full cycle of corporate development activities, from opportunity evaluation and idea generation to cross-functional planning and fund raising, due diligence, execution and integration
  • Establish, manage, and maintain relationships with all stakeholders (both internal and external) for the execution on strategic initiatives


  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Finance or Economics, having MBA is a plus.
  • Strong financial, analytical, valuation, and negotiation skills
  • Have knowledge in Myanmar laws and regulations
  • Minimum of 5 years previous management consulting, corporate finance, investment banking or corporate development experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Myanmar and English
  • Strong analytical capabilities and previous experience developing data-driven analyses
  • Highly collaborative: should embrace, support and practice a collaborative style which goes beyond relationship building
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Adaptable, flexible and with the ability to balance multiple projects / priorities
  • Integrity, reliability, initiative and ability to meet tight deadlines
