Sunlabob Renewable Energy finalized an agreement with ShweTaung Group to design, supply, build and operate a 117 kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Junction City. The roof-mounted solar system is projected to produce an average of more than 140,000 kilowatt-hours of emissions-free electricity each year. The integration of solar power, which is in line with Junction City’s approach to green design and sustainable development, not only reduces Junction City’s environmental impact but will also play a key role in reducing operational costs for many years.

On 6th October 2015, Shwe Taung Group invited all of the sub-contractors for the Junction City project, the Crystal Tower and Residence project to have a signing ceremony of the sub-contractor packages and the agreement of Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery and Code of Ethics at the Sedona hotel. We are committed to adhering to the anti- corruption policy and our ISO 26000 code of conduct, and we are to ensure that our contractors and all the stakeholder in the supply chain are in line with our culture, vision and value. This effort will inspire other stakeholder to follow and practice such principle. The ceremony commenced with the welcome speech from Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet and the keynote speech from CEO of Shwe Taung Group, U Aung Zaw Naing.
On the date of 5th of June 2015, World Environment Day, HTCT Co., Ltd. and Future Energy Co., Ltd. collaborated with NGO, Government Organization and Other Social Communities planted 2300 seedlings at Inlay watershed area Ho Pone Township, Shan State.
A handover ceremony of a six-storeyed (RC) building, Human Resource Development Centre (YTU), to Yangon Technological University was held on 24th May 2015 as the donation of Shwe Taung Group.

Union Minister of Science and Technology Dr.Ko Ko Oo delivered the speech for this opening ceremony and, on behalf of well-wishers, Russian Ambassador Mr.Vasily B Pospelov had the words of thanks, and Deputy CEO U Aung Than of Shwe Taung Group had transferred the documentations of premises to Rector of YTU Dr. Aye Myint.
This HRD Centre is intended to stand as the Centre of Excellence for providing the leadership, the best practices research, the support of or training for a focus area on engineering technology, the business concept or a broad area of study development to bring together faculty members from different disciplines in shared facilities.
Its Building with Mezzanine Floor have total usage floor area of 39,787 square feet (3696.33sqm). There are 5 offices, 1 Meeting Room, 15 Lecture Rooms and 1 Function Hall.
The Centre is well furnished, and which is composed of 2 Elevators on each by 13 people, with Fire Protection and Fire Fighting System, Lighting and Water supply System, Plumbing and Sanitation System,
Air conditioning System, Lightening Protection System.
