Through its subsidiary, Future Energy Co., Ltd., The Group develops and generates hydropower. The company is one of the first and major players in the Myanmar energy industry.
Its last Baluchaung No. 3 Hydropower project is located approximately 25 km east of Loikaw, Kayah State. It has an installed capacity of 52 MW and annual average production of 334 GWhr. The power produced by this project will be distributed to the national grid.
It is one of the first company’s BOT (Build, Operate and Transfer) basis projects with concession period 70 years. For this project, the company invested 130 million USD in total.
